Kari O'Neill

Kari O'Neill is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community development and youth education. Currently serving as a Community Development Field Specialist at South Dakota State University since March 2002, Kari listens to the needs of local communities and creates programs, guidebooks, and events to foster engagement and positive change. Previously, from March 2002 to June 2005, Kari held the role of 4-H/Youth Development Associate, leading the Character Counts! project statewide in South Dakota. Prior to this, a tenure at the University of Minnesota in Pipestone from October 1992 to March 2002 focused on guiding youth and adult leaders in positive development programs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
