SEAHEC
Ashley Swinson, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDRIA Approved Consultant at TIDE Associates, PLLC, since June 2017. In addition to this role, Swinson serves as a Professional Speaker for the Provider Sustainability Program and SEAHEC, conducting trauma-informed care workshops that promote wellness in the health and human service sector. Swinson has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since January 2015, and also designs lessons for Healthcare Academy (HCA) since June 2019. Previously, from June 2007 to June 2017, Swinson was the Partner and Executive Director at the Chrysalis Center for Counseling and Eating Disorder Treatment. Swinson holds a Master of Social Work from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

The NC AHEC Program provides and supports educational activities and services with a focus on primary care in rural communities and those with less access to resources to recruit, train, and retain the workforce needed to create a healthy North Carolina. Located in Wilmington, South East AHEC (SEAHEC) is one of nine centers in the NC AHEC Program and serves Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
