Sheena Wood

Sheena Wood is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at South End Community Health Center, serving in this role since January 2022. In addition, Sheena is a Board Member for the Boston Network for International Development, contributing to programming efforts since July 2018. Previously, Sheena worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School from October 2017 to January 2022, supporting Dr. Vikram Patel in global health initiatives. Sheena completed a Psychiatric NP degree at the MGH Institute of Health Professions between September 2018 and May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a COVID-19 Relief RN at Boston Health Care for the Homeless in May 2020, a Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellow in India from September 2016 to August 2017, and a Community Organizer at Partners In Health from September 2012 to August 2016. Early roles also include advocating for Health Leads, working as a Writing Fellow, and interning for Amnesty International USA. Sheena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health from Brown University.
