Aleksandra Savitckaia

Aleksandra Savitckaia possesses a strong background in environmental impact assessment and climate policy, currently serving as a Consultant at South Pole since November 2020, following roles as Associate Consultant and Analyst. Previous experience includes a stint as a Business Analyst at S2G Energy and a Climate Policy Analyst at NewClimate Institute, where responsibilities encompassed research, policy development, and quantitative modeling related to climate change mitigation in the transport sector. Aleksandra has also contributed to various internships and student positions, including work at Altran, Sverdlovo Utility Systems, and the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum Foundation, gaining expertise in data analysis, project support, and translation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Resource Management from Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering Management from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, complemented by an exchange semester in Economics at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.
