Nathan Gilbert

Nathan Gilbert serves as the Global Senior Director of Regions and Climate Projects at South Pole, where responsibilities include managing the global carbon project portfolio and aligning regional strategies with global objectives since April 2021. Previously, Nathan held the position of Executive Director at B Lab Europe, successfully leading the growth of the B Corp movement and managing partnerships across Europe. Earlier roles at B Lab included Director of Global Partnerships, where Nathan oversaw the management of a global partner network and led international expansion strategies, and Program Associate, focusing on fundraising and business development. Nathan's experience in sustainability and nonprofit management is supported by a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Folklore and Ethnomusicology from Indiana University Bloomington. Additional background includes internships and volunteer work, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in environmental advocacy and community development.
