Janet Caveizel

Janet Caviezel has worked in local government finance since 1996. After spending 16 years at the City of Edgewood as their Finance Director, she transitioned to South Sound 911 in November 2011. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from Central Washington University. She worked for seven years in the private sector prior to moving to local government.

Janet works with a highly skilled and motivated team overseeing payroll, benefits, budget, facilities, purchasing and other financial administration. The team supports South Sound 911’s 230 employees and the agency’s $40M operating budget.

Janet has lived in the Puget Sound area all her life and currently resides in Puyallup. She and her husband Kevin have two sons and a daughter.
