Mirek Wozga

Mirek Wozga is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in exploration and resource evaluation, currently serving as Vice President of Exploration at South32 since February 2015. Prior to this role, Mirek held various management positions in resource evaluation and greenfields exploration at BHP from March 2006 to January 2015, and previously worked in senior and principal resource geology consulting roles at Golder between March 2001 and February 2006. Early career experiences include various exploration, resource geology, mine geology, and consulting roles at notable companies such as ETSA, Pasminco, Newcrest, Plutonic Resources, Homestake, and Rio Tinto (PNG) from November 1989 to February 2001. Mirek Wozga holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Adelaide.
