Rob Merry is an accomplished professional in the field of surveying and geomatics, currently serving as Chief Surveyor at the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission since December 2014. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Vice President of Wisconsin Operations at American Surveying & Engineering, P.C. from August to December 2014. With extensive experience at Quantum Spatial as Geomatics Manager and at Aero-Metric, Inc. as Geomatics Specialist, Rob has built a robust career in surveying. Rob earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying Engineering from The Ohio State University, completing the degree in 1993.

The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) is the official metropolitan planning organization (MPO) and regional planning commission (RPC) for the seven-county Southeastern Wisconsin Region. SEWRPC was created in 1960 to provide the basic information and planning services necessary to solve problems that transcend the corporate boundaries and fiscal capabilities of the local units of government comprising the Region. For nearly 60 years, SEWRPC has provided such information and planning services needed to solve problems and provide focus and attention on key issues of regional consequence.
