Damian Testa possesses extensive experience in public affairs and policy, having held leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Damian serves as the Head of Public Affairs at Southeastern Railway. Previously, Damian was the Head of Policy and Public Affairs at the Association for Eye and Hearing Care Providers, and held the position of Head of Policy and Communications at the British Safety Council. Additionally, Damian has experience as a Senior Policy Manager at the Railway Industry Association and as a Senior Public Affairs Manager in a contract role for the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and the Association for Geographic Information.

Southeastern runs train services into London from Kent and East Sussex, operating some 1600 trains a day, carrying more than 400,000 passengers each weekday, serving 180 stations and covering 450 miles of track. We operate one of the busiest networks in the country including the UK’s first domestic high speed service with Javelin trains. SOUTHEASTERN is owned by SE Trains Ltd, a subsidiary of the Department for Transport’s public sector owning group, ‘DOHL.’ DOHL has responsibility for three rail companies, LNER, Northern Trains Limited and SE Trains.
