Dawn Rappel

Dawn Rappel, CPHR, currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Employee Experience at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since July 2023. Previously, Dawn held the position of Director of Human Resources at Intercare Corporate Group from April 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that, Dawn worked at Sysco Canada Inc. in various roles, including Vice President of Field Human Resources for Canada and Divisional Human Resources Business Partner for both Eastern Canada and the West Division from December 2015 to February 2020. Additional experience includes positions as Director of Human Resources and Senior Human Resources Manager at Sysco Calgary from May 2013 to December 2015, HR Consultant at Cora Breakfast and Lunch in late 2011, and Human Resources Manager and Supervisor at Calalta Amusements Ltd from July 1996 to December 2005. Dawn's educational background includes studies at Cornell University in 2001 and a degree from the University of Calgary from 1992 to 1996.
