Dean Jones has extensive experience in project management, research, and environmental consulting. Dean is currently working at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) as a Project Manager, Principal Investigator, Researcher, and Opportunity Solver. Prior to this, they worked at Ion Irrigation Management Inc as a Resource Conservation Strategist from 2017 to 2019. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at SAIT Polytechnic as a Principal Investigator and Researcher, where they led various green building applied research projects and developed project management skills. Before that, they worked at Goose Creek Renewable Energy Inc as an Environmental Consultant and at Geosystem Srl, a Division of Schlumberger Canada, as a Geophysical Consultant. Dean Jones attended the University of Alberta from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geophysics. Additionally, they are certified as a Professional Geophysicist by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
