Southern Gas Corridor Closed Joint Stock Company (SGC) was established to consolidate, manage and finance State’s (the Republic of Azerbaijan) interests in the full-field development of the “Shah Deniz” gas-condensate field, the expansion of the South Caucasus Pipeline, construction of the Trans Anatolian (TANAP) and Trans Adriatic (TAP) Pipelines. SGC has undertaken onward financing of the projects, while operational management of the projects is continued to be provided by SOCAR.
