Matthew Boutilier

Matthew Boutilier, PhD, serves as the Director of Online Curriculum and Instruction at Oakton College and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor for the Graduate Instructional Design & Learning Technology Department at both Southern Nazarene University and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Prior to these roles, Matthew was the Director of Online Education and Associate Dean of Online Education at Trinity International University, where responsibilities included curriculum development and instructional design. Matthew has also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Clarks Summit University and Maranatha Baptist University, focusing on Bible/Theology courses. A former Assistant Pastor at First Baptist Church of Hartland, Matthew brings diverse experience from various industries including quality assurance and manufacturing, underpinned by extensive educational qualifications including a PhD in Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Master's in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
