Brad Creek, PE, is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear and power systems industries. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Subsequent License Renewal at Southern Nuclear since October 2020, Brad previously held roles such as Senior Systems Engineer for the AC Power Distribution System and Senior Power Systems Engineer at Eaton. Prior experiences include positions as an Electrical Engineer at Lewellyn Technology (now SEAM Group), Hardware Engineer Intern, and Field Service Technician. Brad's career commenced in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Plant Electrician, where responsibilities included serving as an Electrical Work Center Supervisor. An alumnus of Purdue University, Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and also completed a BASAT in Nuclear Engineering Technology from the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.

Southern Nuclear operates a total of seven units for Alabama Power and Georgia Power at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant near Dothan, Ala.; the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant near Baxley, Ga., and the Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant near Waynesboro, Ga. The company recently achieved commercial operation on Vogtle Unit 3 and is the current licensee of Vogtle Unit 4, which is under construction. Both of these units represent historic achievements for the nuclear industry as the first new nuclear units to reach commercial operation and be built in the United States in the last three decades.
