Mitch Wilson

Mitch Wilson, MCJ, serves as the Corp Security Protective Services Manager at SouthState Bank since March 2020, after previously holding the position of Corporate Security Officer. Prior experience includes roles as a Master Deputy and Detective in the Major Violent Crimes Unit at the Charleston County Sheriff's Office from May 2007 to March 2020, and as a Deputy Sheriff/Patrol Officer in North Charleston from January 2003 to May 2007. Earlier experience encompasses project management and network cable installation at Enterprise Network Services from 1998 to 2003, and military service as a Corporal in the Military Police with the USMC from September 1994 to October 1998. Mitch holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management from Limestone University, along with law enforcement certifications from The South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and the US Army Military Police School.
