Gustavo Ortiz, CESCO, CCSHP, currently serves as an EHS Consultant at YellowBird and as Senior Director of Safety and Security Operations at Goodwill Central Texas. Gustavo has extensive experience in occupational health and safety, having held positions such as Occupational Health and Safety Consultant for the Texas Department of Insurance and Director of Environmental, Safety & Maintenance Operations at BAUER COMPRESSORS INC. Gustavo's background includes managing safety programs in military settings, notably as Department Safety Manager for the US Navy and Regimental Safety Manager for the United States Marine Corps. Gustavo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety & Health with a concentration in Environmental Management, Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University, alongside various certifications in safety management and environmental protection.
