James Ramos currently serves as the Academic Dean and previously held multiple roles at Southwest University at El Paso, including Director of Distance Ed Innovation and Senior Associate Dean. In addition to academic leadership, James founded and operates LumberJim and A Headful, LLC. Prior experience includes working as a Biology Expert - Writer at Study.com and a Science Writer at JoVE. James holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Arizona State University and a BS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rice University.
