Buddy Powers has over 40 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in applications engineering and product development. Currently, as a Sr Applications Engineer in the International Division at Southwire Company since July 2007, Buddy Powers focuses on the development of flatwire to meet UL requirements, including compliance for GFCIs, defining new testing methods for low fire hazards, and establishing tripping algorithms to ensure low energy usage.
