After three years, they joined Southwire Company in 1996 and held various roles. As a Corporate Attorney for nine years, their responsibilities included contract review and drafting, litigation management, and workers' compensation cases. In 2009, they were promoted to Director of Compliance, where they handled employment law issues, corporate investigations, and oversaw the Southwire Corporate Compliance Program. Chandler Barrett retired from Southwire in 2016.
