Charlie Burland

Charlie Burland, CSP, CHMM, currently serves as the Director of EHS - Integration and Acquisition at Southwire Company, where responsibilities include designing and overseeing EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulations. Previously, Burland was the Global GBU EHS Manager at Heraeus Comvance, playing a crucial role as the COVID Pandemic Manager and leading the Emergency Response Team during the pandemic. Burland also held the position of Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at Heraeus, focusing on resource management, compliance, and safety training. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Safety at FreshPoint, Inc., Managing Partner at Gregory's Steakhouse/Penalty Box Sports Bar, and as an Environmental Engineer at the US EPA. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
