Marco Lorenzo Romero has extensive experience in the field of blockchain development and related roles. Marco Lorenzo is currently serving as the Blockchain Development Director at BreederDAO since January 2022. Prior to this, Marco worked as the Platform Lead-Blockchain at UnionBank of the Philippines from March 2017 to November 2022. Marco Lorenzo also held the position of Blockchain Development Lead at UBX Philippines from January 2019 to March 2022. Before transitioning to blockchain, Marco worked as a Delivery Excellence Analyst at Accenture from July 2015 to January 2017.
Marco Lorenzo Romero pursued their Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics at the University of the Philippines from 2011 to 2015. Marco Lorenzo later enrolled in the University of Asia and the Pacific to pursue a Masters in Applied Business Analytics, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In terms of additional certifications, Marco obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in September 2018. Marco Lorenzo also pursued certifications in Certified Blockchain Developer- Ethereum and Certified Blockchain Solutions Architect from the Blockchain Training Alliance, although the specific dates of completion are unknown.
