Osama Soliman has an extensive work experience in the sugar trading industry. Osama started their career at Cargill Egypt in 1999, where they served as a Senior Sugar Trader for eight years. In 2008, they joined the National Sugar Company as the Raw Sugar Procurement & Risk Manager, responsible for managing hedging and pricing of sugar. Osama then moved to Cargill International SA in 2011, working as a Raw Sugar Trader and later as a Senior White Sugar Trader. In 2013, they joined Cargill Trading Egypt as a Senior Trader, handling sugar, grains, and oilseed. During their time there, they were promoted to Trading Manager for Sugar and Soybean Crush. Currently, Osama Soliman holds the position of Commercial Director at Soyven, a Cargill-ADM Joint Venture, and will assume the role of Managing Director in February 2022.
Osama Soliman earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from The American University in Cairo, completing their studies from 1992 to 1997. Osama then pursued an MBA in International Business at the same institution from 1999 to 2002. Prior to these higher education experiences, there is no available information regarding their school attendance at English School and ZLS.

About Our Company SoyVen is a joint venture launched by Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) and Cargill which provides soybean meal and oil for customers in Egypt. SoyVen owns and operates the National Vegetable Oil Company soy crush facility in Borg Al-Arab along with related commercial and functional activities, including a separate Switzerland-based merchandising operation that would supply soybeans to the crush plant. Cargill expanded the plant from 3,000 metric tons to 6,000 metric tons of daily crush capacity. The plant will be able to produce higher protein soybean meal while reducing the need for soybean meal imports into Egypt .
