Michael Ferguson

Michael Ferguson has extensive experience in finance and consulting, currently serving as Managing Director and Team Leader in Sustainable Finance Americas at S&P Global Ratings since June 2011. Prior roles at S&P Global included Senior Director and Director, focusing on energy infrastructure and sustainable finance. Earlier professional experience includes Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting, where Michael contributed to asset recovery efforts and investigated financial misconduct, as well as positions at Ernst & Young as a Core Assurance Senior Auditor and at Standard & Poor's as a Public Relations Intern. Michael's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Sustainability from Harvard University and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, along with a Master's in Accountancy from the University of Virginia and dual undergraduate degrees in Finance and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
