Roy Phua has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles. Roy worked at Spa Esprit Group as the CFO from June 2018 to present, and prior to that, they served as the Senior Financial Controller from August 2016 to May 2018. Before joining Spa Esprit Group, they were the Financial Controller at Banyan Tree Corporate Pte Ltd from March 2015 to August 2016. Roy Phua also has experience at Goodpack Limited, where they served as the Senior Financial Controller from July 2010 to March 2015. In this role, they were responsible for group consolidation and reporting, tax compliance, and acted as the key contact point for auditors and tax authorities. Earlier in their career, Roy Phua worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP as an Audit Assistant Manager from August 2004 to June 2010. In this role, they gained experience in statutory audit, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and initial public offerings. Roy Phua has a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
Roy Phua earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2001 to 2004.
