Larissa Myers has a strong background in software engineering, with their most recent position being a Software Engineer at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Veracity Forecasting Group from 2018 to 2019. Larissa also has experience in education, having served as a Substitute Principal and Tutor at Northridge Learning Center from 2017 to 2018, where they implemented a coursework forecasting system and tutored over 250 students. Before that, they worked as an Interactive Broadcast Facilitator at Utah State University Distance Education in 2016, where they operated and troubleshot technical problems for video conferencing equipment. Additionally, Larissa was an Ambassador for Utah State University - College of Engineering from 2014 to 2015, where they provided support to outreach and recruiting programs and answered student questions. Larissa began their career as a Munitions Testing Clerk at Hill Air Force Base Munitions Group in 2012, where they played a role in a digitization project and participated in munitions tests.
Larissa Myers earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Utah State University. During their time at the university from 2011 to 2016, they also pursued minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. In September 2021, they obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance.
