Ben Schofield

Ben Schofield is a Pressure Systems Test Engineer and Systems Engineer at Space Forge, having started in April 2022. Previously, academic and professional experiences include a Systems Engineering Intern role, structural engineering internship at Orbex, and involvement in various engineering projects during time at The University of Sheffield. Notable achievements comprise leading the design of UAV payloads, securing funding for an automated person detection research project, and contributing to a prototype energy monitoring solution in collaboration with local manufacturers as part of Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy. Ben Schofield also co-founded the Sheffield University Feminist Society and was recognized as a joint winner in the UK Space Agency's SatelLife Competition for innovative satellite data applications. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Sheffield and A Level courses from the City of Norwich School.
