Brooks Mitchell

Brooks Mitchell has extensive experience in educational coordination and program development, primarily focusing on STEM and space science education. Currently serving as an Education Associate at the Space Science Institute since May 2017, Brooks has held various roles, including Principal Investigator for a NASA-funded project and has designed multiple professional development initiatives for educators. Previous positions include Education Coordinator at NASA initiatives and Program Facilitator at Durango Nature Studies, where curriculum and hands-on activities were developed. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from The University of Alabama.
