Systems Analysis Technical Director at Space Works

Henry Schwartz is an aerospace engineer with over 13 years of experience. In 2008, they worked as a Solar Panel Engineer at the Aerospace Systems Laboratory. In 2009, they worked as a Transition Engineer at L-3 Communications. In 2011, they were part of the NASA Aeronautics Academy at the NASA Glenn Research Center, where they planned and executed research to analyze multi-modal civilian transportation systems. From 2012 to 2017, they worked on their Ph.D. dissertation at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed an uncertainty-based methodology for advanced technology performance prediction. From 2014 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Graduate Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology - Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL). Theirresearch included identification, characterization, and visualization of uncertainty sources using various statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. Henry was also a team member on NASA’s award-winning Environmentally Responsible Aviation (ERA) project. In 2022, they became a Senior Aerospace Engineer at SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI).

Henry Schwartz attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Henry then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Henry continued at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017, receiving a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering.
