Alexander Farfel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering Services at AMOS-Spacecom since July 2017, Alexander leads engineering solutions for end-to-end services and manages in-house software development for payload operations. Previous roles at AMOS-Spacecom include Payload and GCS Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the AMOS-17 ground control segment and collaborating with major industry contractors. Prior to this, Alexander worked at the Israel Defense Forces as a Payload Engineer and Communication Branch Officer, focusing on management of contractors, satellite test planning, and system engineering. Alexander began their career as a Research Assistant at PHLburg Technologies, Inc. and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio-Physics from the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky.
