Orly Shachar

Orly Shachar is a seasoned system engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industries. Currently serving as a system engineer at SpaceIL since July 2022 and Elbit Systems Ltd since September 2021, Orly's previous role spanned over two decades at Elisra, focusing on system engineering, programming, algorithm development, integration, and testing. Earlier career contributions at Israel Aerospace Industries included operations research and software engineering, with expertise in discrete and continuous simulations. Orly holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
