Andrew Jones is an experienced journalist and editor with a focus on space, international relations, and Chinese affairs. Since March 2018, Andrew has been a correspondent for SpaceNews, while also serving as a contributing editor for The Planetary Society since November 2016, where contributions include guest blogs on outer space and China. Prior roles include serving as a senior editor and multimedia journalist for gbtimes from March 2011 to February 2019, specializing in China's space program, and working as a research assistant at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs from June 2009 to December 2010. Andrew's early career includes several training and lecturing positions, as well as technical assistance in agricultural policy for the National Assembly for Wales. Educational background includes a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Tampere, along with studies at Fudan University and Aberystwyth University.
