Greg Thomas

Greg Thomas has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Greg started their career at Apple in 1990, working in the Apple Customer Support & Human Interface Group until 1994. Greg then joined Interval Research as a Member of Research Staff until 1999. After that, they worked at Quokka Sports as a Senior Digital Producer/Manager in the Adventure Sports department until 2001.

In 2002, Greg joined Inside Communications, Inc as a Digital Director, and later became the Chief Operating Officer from 2005 to 2008. Greg then briefly worked as the Senior Vice President Online at Competitor Group in 2008.

Greg's next role was at Endurance Travel, where they served as an Adventure/World Travel specialist from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Pocket Ventures LLC as an Executive/Operating Partner, and they held this position until taking on a new venture.

In 2015, Greg joined SpaceNews as the VP of Digital, and a year later, they became the CEO of the company. Finally, in 2023, they transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer, which they currently hold.

In addition to their work at SpaceNews, Greg co-founded Pocket Outdoor Media in 2017, where they served as the Co-founder and held the position of President & COO until 2018. Pocket Outdoor Media is a leading creator of active lifestyle content, encompassing various brands such as Yoga Journal, SKI, BACKPACKER, and Women's Running, among others.
