Markus Wachter

Markus Wachter has a diverse range of work experience. Markus'smost recent role is as the Head of HR Development at SPAR Österreich, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant and took a period of educational leave at federkraft Consulting Group from March 2020 to October 2020. From 2005 to June 2020, Wachter served as the Head of Human Resources at Merkur Warenhandels AG. Markus also has experience as a lecturer at Fachhochschule WIFI Wien from September 2007 to 2012 and has held various roles including owner, trainer, and consultant at compact-training, ic2 consulting, and ppc training from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, Wachter took a break for fatherhood from June 2010 to September 2010.

Markus Wachter completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Vienna, where they obtained a degree in Psychology in 1998. Markus then pursued further studies at the Universität Wien, specializing in Klinischer- & Gesundheitspsychgologe from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, they received a Businesscoach qualification from ÖAGG. In 2003, Markus obtained a certification in Arbeitspsychologe from the Bundesverband der österr. Psycholog/innen and a mediator certification from the Inst. f. Mediation & Konfliktmanagement in 2005. In 2004, they completed an Ausbildung zum syst. Organisationsberater at Kick Off Management Consulting. Markus further expanded their expertise with certifications in HR Business Partner from Heitger Consulting in 2019 and as a zertifizierter Aufstellungsleiter in systemische Aufstellungsarbeit from Kick Off Management Consulting in 2019. Markus pursued a Doktoratsstudium Organisationsentwicklung at the Universität Klagenfurt starting from 2015, but it remains incomplete. Markus'smost recent certification is an NLP Practitioner & LNR (Resilienz Trainer & Coach) from SINN NLP, which they obtained in 2022. Additionally, Markus has obtained certifications in "Ortsunabhängig arbeiten" and "Agile Mitarbeiterführung mit OKR" from LinkedIn in 2020.
