In October 1986, Ernestine Umuhire came into the world as the firstborn in a family of five children. She grew up in a small urban neighborhood of Kimironko, Rwanda. She has 7 Years of experience in conducting surveys with the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR), where she worked as a research assistant. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering and Environmental Sciences obtained from UR/CAVM, and other diplomas and certificates in the agriculture sector and IT. Before joining Spark in February 2021, Ernestine served as a trainer of trainers regarding Bio Intensive Agriculture techniques and community engagement in more than five rural districts in Rwanda.
