Before joining Spark, Katherine supported large-scale public health programming for 9 years with several organizations including Evidence Action and The END Fund and was a Global Health Corps fellow from 2013-2014. She holds a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in public health and social work from Washington University in St. Louis. Katherine is energized by sustainable social impact, as well as hiking, running, cooking, and reading.
