Daniel Peloquin

Daniel Peloquin is a seasoned executive who has been involved in the manufacturing and exporting of products and services serving the electrical Transmission and Distribution (T&D) industry and End Users on international markets for over 35 years. Peloquin’s background includes extensive executive leadership in general management, human capital, engineering, sales, marketing and operations. He has a wealth of experience in leading and managing large teams of people for many large, global organizations, in Canada and abroad.

He has most recently served as the President of Schneider Electric Canada. Prior to this, he has also been the CEO of a global division of Siemens AG. He has also held senior executive positions with the large multinational companies AREVA and ALSTOM.

Since 2015, Peloquin is the CEO and Managing Partner of the management consulting firm Daniel Peloquin Consultant (DPC). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) and is ESA’s Chair of its Human Resources and Investment Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of other companies involved in electricity generation, transmission and distribution and Smart Grids. He has also been appointed to the Advisory Board of one of the Councils of the Standards Council of Canada. Over the years, he has also served on the Board of many Canadian advocacy groups.
