Niels Hersoug is an experienced professional in the fields of quantum technology, management consulting, and project leadership. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Danish Quantum Community and Sparrow Quantum Aps, where Niels also holds the position of CEO, Niels leads a deep-tech startup focused on developing single-photon sources. As the INCOM Project Head at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Niels oversees a €13 million project involving 12 industrial partners and two universities. Niels founded Hersoug Consult, providing strategic and fundraising consulting since 2004. Previously, Niels held key leadership roles including General Manager at GEANT Ltd, V.P. at Terma A/S, and Managing Director at EuroCableLabs. Niels has a robust educational background with degrees from DTU and Copenhagen Business School, complemented by a certification in Prince II and a course from INSEAD on business innovation.
