Senior Blockchain Engineer

Company Description SparsPay is a Blockchain powered payments settlement app company based in Lagos and to be based in United States. Our platform makes it easy for individuals and businesses to settle payments from both international and cryptocurrency sources in their local currency.

SparsPay is building a suite of scaling solutions powered by Stellar Blockchain Technology

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python and Solidity
• Familiarity with distributed ledger technology, cryptography algorithms and consensus mechanisms
• Ability to develop and implement secure, efficient and scalable blockchain applications
• Knowledge of Stellar Blockchain Network and Hyperledger frameworks
• Experience with web and mobile development frameworks such as Node.js and Angular
• Experience working with Stellar Blockchain SDKs

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• 4+ years of ACTIVE experience as a Software Engineer
• 2+ years years of Solidity smart contract development experience
• 3+ years of as a front-end or full-stack or backend developer (React, ideally Typescript, NodeJS)
• Knowledge of secure Solidity development patterns for smart contracts holding or handling funds (ex : tokens and DeFi protocols)
• Good knowledge of smart contract development tools / frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry)
• Experience using smart contract testing, auditing & fuzzing tools
• Experience working in CI/CD setup
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Writing good technical documentation.

Salary Range: $12,000 - $18,000 annual Salary.
