Shaofei Chen

Shaofei is a location analytics expert who has worked in the intersection of geographic information systems (GIS) and retail real estate for the past 11 years. In his role at boutique consultancy Tango Analytics, he worked with global clients on portfolio and market optimization. He has advised some of the world’s largest private equity funds. Shaofei has introduced geospatial thinking to challenge prevailing views in the real estate world. Key accomplishments include data innovation through geofencing and mobile data in retail estate research, the first of its kind in the industry, and the use of remote sensing and open source data.
