Andrea Scarpino has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and operations. In 2007, they worked as an Open Source Developer. From 2013 to 2015, they co-founded DataToKnowledge and also worked as a Software Developer at NeaLogic, developing a Burraco card game for PCs. In 2014, they joined NoemaLife as a Junior Analyst, where they developed a J2EE Web Semantic application for checking the validity of CDA documents. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Development Operations Lead at Klopotek Software & Technology Services Italia s.r.l., where they handled various tasks such as setting up and maintaining GitLab, Jenkins, and other software repositories. Currently, Andrea holds the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at SpazioDati srl, where they focus on setting up and managing microservices and tools on AWS instances using Ansible, Terraform, and other technologies.
Andrea Scarpino obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technologies for Software Production from the Università degli Studi di Bari. Andrea attended this institution from 2007 to 2012.
Prior to that, Andrea studied at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale "E. Fermi" Lecce, where they received the degree Perito Capo Tecn Ind. Informatica Abacus in Computer Science. Andrea completed their studies there from 2002 to 2007.
