Simone Fonda has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. They began their career as a Developer at Università degli Studi di Trieste in 2005, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Developer at Flowtech International AB. In 2008, Simone joined Net7 as a Lead Frontend Developer, Project Manager, and Account Manager, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they led small to medium groups of developers, gave tech talks, organized events, and provided training on frontend technologies. From 2014 to 2015, Simone worked as a Senior Developer at Prezi, focusing on developing the next version of the Prezi viewer and editor. Since 2015, they have been working at SpazioDati srl, initially as a Senior Developer and, from 2020, transitioning into a more managerial role. They have led entirely new projects, designed and developed product features, coordinated teams, and been responsible for the Atoka product across various business lines. Simone also led the efforts for the Atoka Pocket app, monitoring market response and overseeing the development of multiple iterations and releases.
Simone Fonda completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Informatica from the Università degli Studi di Trieste from 2001 to 2004. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, Simone pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Informatica at the Università di Pisa.
