Remmelt Koenes has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Remmelt began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Triple Software. In 2002, they moved to Solit Application Developement as a Developer. In 2004, they joined Startphone Ltd. / Hyves as a Developer. In 2006, they worked as a Developer at Basic Orange. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer at The Saints. During 2011 to 2015, they were a Software Engineer at Oberon Medialab, where they mainly worked on iOS applications written in Objective-C. Remmelt created the Delta ZeelandApp, Houthoff-Buruma and My T-Mobile. In 2015, they joined Speakap as a Senior iOS Developer.
Remmelt Koenes completed a MBO 3 in Medewerker Informatie Systemen from Walraven van Hall College between 1999 and 2000. Remmelt then went on to complete a MBO 4 in Applicatie Ontwikkelaar from ICT academie Amsterdam (ROC ASA) between 2002 and 2003. Finally, they earned an HBO in Software Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2003 and 2007.
