Eitan Shabtay is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in research and development across various high-tech sectors. Currently serving as Chief R&D and Engineering Officer at SpearUAV, Eitan previously held the position of Executive Vice President for Engineering and Technology at TAT Technologies Ltd., and was a Senior R&D Manager at Elbit Systems Ltd., where responsibilities included leading the development of advanced electro-optical systems and managing significant projects in missile defense technology. Additional roles include Vice President of R&D at IQwind and pivotal positions within the Elite Technological Unit of the IDF, where Eitan developed and led innovative mechanical engineering projects. Eitan holds an MBA from Ben-Gurion University, an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
