Steven Evans has a strong background in learning and development, with experience in various roles related to training and education. Steven started their career as a Training Support Coordinator at Egg, where they managed logistics for the training team. Steven then worked at Prudential Financial as a Training Technology Coordinator, providing support for the learning management system. Steven later moved on to Citi/Barclaycard as an E-Learning Developer, designing and delivering e-learning solutions. Steven continued to expand their expertise in learning and development at Boots, Costa Coffee, and Specsavers, holding positions such as eLearning Designer, National Training Manager, Global L&D Design and Delivery Manager, and Lead for Well-being and Inclusion. Currently, Steven is the Head of Wellbeing and Inclusion at Specsavers.
Steven Evans completed a Master's degree in Online & Distance Education (MA) with a specialization in e-Learning Professional at The Open University from 2010 to 2013. Steven also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB 2(i)) with a focus on Employment Law from the University of Derby between 1998 and 2001. In addition, Steven obtained a Level 4 Award in Managing Equality and Diversity in an Organisation from ILM in the year 2022.
