Allen Yeats began their work experience in 1994 at Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group, where they worked as a Signal Processing Engineer. Allen was responsible for adapting base station transceivers to different standards and programming mixed signal PCB boards. In 1996, they joined Cottonwood Technology Group as a Test Solution Engineer, where they developed custom test and measurement solutions for microwave communications. In 1999, they moved to Motorola's Semiconduct Product Sector as an R&D Device Design/Characterization engineer, focusing on process control engineering and developing SOC and RF processes. In 2000, they joined Verigy (formerly Agilent, Semiconductor Test Solutions Division) as a Solution Architect, handling solution and software architecture roles. Allen also served as a Technical Software and STIL Lead. In 2007, they joined SpectraLink as a Software Engineer, customizing the Android OS for VOIP applications and evaluating embedded platforms and BSPs.
Allen Yeats earned their M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, where they studied from 1988 to 1994.
