Tyler Simpson

Tyler Simpson is an experienced news producer and firefighter with a diverse background in emergency services and journalism. Since October 2019, Tyler has worked as a news producer at Spectrum, following prior roles at WTNH-TV and WTEN-TV. Additionally, Tyler has been a firefighter with the McKownville Fire Department since August 2017, providing fire prevention and rescue services, and holds Interior Firefighter certification to the New York Firefighter I/II level. Involvement with Tri-State Emergency Team as a land search volunteer and boat handler showcases commitment to community service. Past experience also includes roles as a reporter, video journalist, and producer at the Vermont Center for Community Journalism. Tyler's educational background includes a degree from Lyndon State College, complementing a strong foundation in both media and public safety.
