Steve Miron was elected to the board of directors of Charter on May 18, 2016. Mr. Miron is a senior executive officer with the Advance/Newhouse companies, which is a global, diversified privately-owned group of media and technology companies. He served as President of Bright House Networks from July 2002 to May 2008 and as Chief Executive Officer from May 2008 until May 2016, when Bright House Networks was acquired by Charter. Mr. Miron currently serves as a director of Discovery Communications and was previously a member of the board of directors of C-SPAN, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association and CableLabs. Mr. Miron also currently serves on the Crouse Health Foundation Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Foundation of Central New York. He previously served for several years on the Board of Directors and executive committee for CTAM and the Board of Directors for Emma Bowen Foundation and CTAM Educational Foundation. Mr. Miron is a graduate of American University.
