Keith Smith

Keith Smith is an experienced firmware engineer with a diverse background in developing software for various technological applications. Currently serving as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Sperry Rail Inc. since April 2024, Keith previously held the position of Principal Firmware Engineer at PerkinElmer, Inc., where technical leadership was provided for firmware projects aimed at automating laboratory equipment. With prior roles including Principal Engineer at Pitney Bowes, where next-generation mailing equipment was developed, and multiple engineering positions at Bryce Office Systems, RIC Systems, and Summagraphics, Keith has a solid foundation in embedded software engineering, having contributed significantly to the design and implementation of complex systems across a range of industries. Keith holds a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, acquired between 1975 and 1979.
