Paul Challinor has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Paul started their career at Cegelec Industrial Controls as an entry-level engineer. Paul then worked at Alstom Drives and Controls as a development technician, gaining experience in designing and testing electrical systems. Paul later joined GE Power Conversion as an engineer/technologist, where they led a global team and was responsible for the validation of a three-phase inverter. Paul also collaborated with GE's Global Research Centre on an EMC vulnerability investigation. Following that, Paul worked at Siemens as a validation engineer on a short-term contract. Paul then joined Cole-Parmer as a principal test and validation engineer before joining Antylia Scientific as a principal engineer in EMC compliance.
Paul Challinor attended Brownhills High School from 1986 to 1989. Paul then pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering at Newcastle College of Further Education from 1997 to 1998. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Staffordshire University from 2000 to 2004.
