Spexi
Alec Wilson serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Spexi, a pioneering drone technology company focused on high-resolution Earth imagery through its FLY TO EARN network, since October 2021. Prior to this role, Alec co-founded Coastal Drone Co, where as President, significant revenue and profit growth was achieved while establishing it as Canada's largest online drone pilot certification entity. Alec's experience also includes a role as Helicopter Pilot and Director of Commercial Projects at SKY Helicopters Inc., managing diverse commercial operations in various industries. Earlier in the career, Alec held positions at GeoLive.ca, Teck Resources Limited, and co-owned Student Handyworx. Alec holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Geography from The University of British Columbia and The University of Auckland, along with a Commercial Pilot License from Chinook Helicopters Ltd.
